4 Configuring the Network Integrity GUI

This chapter provides information on configuring the Network Integrity GUI for using the Network Integrity Unified Inventory Management (UIM) Sample Web Service.

Network Integrity GUI Settings

To configure the Network Integrity GUI for the UIM Sample Web Service, use the following procedure:

1. Log in to the Network Integrity GUI.

2. Click Manage Import System.

3. Set Name as required.

4. Set Address to http://UIM_IPAddress:UIM_Port/NI_Uim/NI_UimHTTP.

5. Set User name to the username of UIM.

6. Set Password to the password of UIM.

Note:

If UIM is installed with SSL enabled, the UIM URL requires HTTPS. You must configure the Weblogic domain to accept UIM Sample Web Service connections using HTTPS. See Unified Inventory Management Installation and System Administration Guide for more information.
