Delete resources from JMS system modules

Note: Deleting a JMS resource permanently removes it from the JMS module's configuration. For certain types of resources (for example, queues, topics, and connection factories), you can temporarily stop using the resource by un-targeting it from its targeted JMS server, server, or cluster. For information, see the resource type's targeting instructions.

To delete configured resources from a JMS module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the Administration Console, expand Services > Messaging and select JMS Modules.
  3. In the resulting JMS Modules table, click the JMS module that you want to delete resources from.
  4. In the Summary of Resources table, select the check box next to the resource you want to delete.

Note: You can also select the check box next to the Names column to select all your configured resources for deletion.

  5. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
