Monitor queues in JMS system modules

You can monitor statistics on queues in a JMS system module. Runtime statistics include counts, pending, and threshold data for consumers, bytes, and messages for the queue.

To view the current statistics for a JMS queue:

  1. In the Administration Console, expand Services > Messaging > JMS Modules.
  2. In the JMS Modules table, click the JMS module that contains the configured queue that you want to access.
  3. In the selected JMS module's Summary of Resources table, click the queue that you want to monitor.
  4. Click the Monitoring > Statistics tab.

The Statistics page summarizes the runtime statistics for the current queue, including consumers, messages, and bytes information.

For more information about these statistics, see Monitoring Options.

  5. Optionally, click Customize this table to change the columns displayed in the statistics table. To make changes, you must lock the domain configuration before making changes and activate the changes when you are finished.

After you finish

If you want to manage the messages on a queue, including deleting selected messages, moving messages to another queue, or draining all the messages from the queue, see Manage queue messages.
