The following are some key terms that you need to be familiar with when you browse or search for items in the Merchandising Navigation pane:
Parent assets are those immediately above the current asset in the hierarchy. For example, Accessories might be the parent category of the product Shoulder Bag.
Ancestors are all the assets from which the current asset descends. For example, Commerce Root, Women’s Apparel, Gift Ideas, For Her, and Accessories are all ancestor categories of the product Shoulder Bag.
