Preface

The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle Virtual Directory provides information on how to use and administer Oracle Virtual Directory in an enterprise directory infrastructure.

Audience

The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle Virtual Directory is intended for Oracle Virtual Directory administrators and for network architects planning directory infrastructure. You should be familiar with either the UNIX operating system or the Microsoft Windows operating system to understand the command-line syntax and examples in this document. You also must be familiar with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
