New Features for Release 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)

The following is a list of the new features included in Oracle Virtual Directory 11g Release 1 (11.1.1):

• New Configure Adapters for Enterprise User Security (EU) integration wizard in Oracle Directory Services Manager simplifies configuring Oracle Virtual Directory for EUS integration.

• New FA UserRole plug-in that allows VDE to redirect add and modify operations to specific adapters.

• Enhanced HideEntriesByFilter plug-in to include support for dynamic filters and improved query feature.

After Oracle's acquisition of Sun Microsystems, the Sun™ Java System Directory Server product was renamed Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition, and all references to this product have been updated in this book accordingly.
