J Activating Sign off Button on Menu Panels

To have the Sign off push button display on a Menu panel, the administrator installing the JD Edwards World Web Enablement needs to verify that the appropriate text file entry is set accordingly on the WV93.LWM and DYNBLD93.LWM files.

Use a text editor tool such as MS Notepad or MS WordPad to open the WV93.LWM and DYNBLD93.LWM files.

Example paths for location of WV93.LWM and DYNBLD93.LWM:

For IBM i Installation:

  • Your IBM i root folder/LEGASUITE/A93App/

For Windows NT-2000-2003 Server and LegaSuite Client for Windows Installations:

  • C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\JWALKAPP\A9100APP\

WV93.LWM and DYNBLD93.LWM Text File Entry Updates:

  • MENUCPYR1 set to the exact character text on row 23, columns 46-51 of the menu screen.

If the content of MENUCPYR1 contains the same text as listed on row 23, columns 46-51 of the menu screen, the Sign off push button displays only on a Menu panel and functions as a "90" (e.g. Sign Off) and the standard menu panel push button displays and functions as F12..

Note:

A partial match between row 23, columns 46-51 of the menu screen and the value in MENUCPYR1 is considered a match. Verify the value in MENUCPYR1 differs completely.

If the content of MENUCPYR1 differs from what is listed on row 23, columns 46-51 of the menu screen, the Sign off push button does not display and the standard application panel push button displays and functions as F3.
