Simplified UI

Overview

Oracle Service Contracts provides a simplified layout that includes an icon-based menu and new UI components. The following new UI components are added to simplify the page layout:

• Vertical subtab layout - a vertical display of tabs for a subtab layout.

• Hide or Show subtab layout - a Hide or Show region that contains a subtab layout. In the collapsed mode, only the tabs' icons display. The content region slides out and displays related content when a user selects a tab.

To access Oracle Advanced Pricing application pages from this simplified UI you must add the Pricing User responsibility. To add the responsibility:

1. Navigate to System Administrator responsibility, Security, and User, and then click Define. The Users window appears.

2. In the User Name field enter CONMGR.

3. From the Responsibility LOV, select Pricing User, Self Service.

4. From the Security Group LOV, select Standard.

5. Click Save.
