Known and Resolved Issues

The following sections describe known issues with the Oracle Tuxedo software and include recommended workarounds. The problems are listed by the Change Request (CR) number. The CR number is provided to facilitate the tracking of these problems.

Known Limitations

Table 1 describes the known limitations for Oracle Tuxedo and provides recommended workarounds.

1.	Best performance is obtained when buffer size is smaller than 100KB.
	Description	When buffer size is greater than 100KB, Direct Cross Node Communication Leveraging RDMA feature lowers performance.

	Workaround	Disable Direct Cross Node Communication Leveraging RDMA feature when buffer size is greater than 100KB.

 

Product Constraints

Table 2 describes product constraints for Oracle Tuxedo and provides recommended workarounds.

1.	Have to rebuild TMS servers when upgrading tuxedo to 11.1.1.3.0
	Description	TMS server binaries have to be re-compiled and re-linked after upgrading Tuxedo to 11.1.1.3.0.

	Workaround	None.
2.	Oracle Tuxedo add-on products installer prints "Available: Error!" in Exalogic
	Description	When you install Oracle Tuxedo add-on products on Exalogic, the installer reports the following error message "Available: Error!".

	Workaround	Ignore this message.

Resolved Issues

Table 3 lists the software and documentation problems that have been fixed in Release 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0). Problems are listed by bug number.

Any software or documentation fixes that are made to Tuxedo 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0) are reported in updates to this section.
