You always create an activity (task or appointment) by entering information in a form. You can access this form from different areas within the application, depending on what you are working on and what you need to do.
This section describes one method for creating an activity, which allows you to add the record while continuing with your work in the main area of the application. For a description of all the methods, see Creating Records.
