Oracle Authentication Services for Operating Systems was introduced in Oracle Internet Directory 10g (10.1.4.0.1). It has been updated for 11g Release 1 (11.1.1). Oracle Authentication Services for Operating Systems enables you to centralize storage, authentication, and management of user identities using Oracle Internet Directory.
