New Configure Adapters for Real Application Security integration wizard in Oracle Directory Services Manager simplifies configuring Oracle Virtual Directory for Real Application Security (RAS) integration.

Oracle Virtual Directory now supports the Oracle Virtual Directory-Real Application Security integration user account lockout feature to enforce a back-end LDAP server's password lockout policy.

New Real Application Security (RAS) plug-in that allows VDE to redirect add and modify operations to specific adapters.

DBPassword plug-in is now available out of the box, and it supports passwords encrypted using standard MD2, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384,SSHA, and SHA-512 hash algorithms.

Oracle Virtual Directory now supports LDAP RFC 3673.
When the attribute description "+" is present in a Search Request's list of attributes, it signifies a request for the return of all operational attributes.
