44 Introduction to the Operations Guide

This part describes the operational functions you can perform in Oracle Service Bus, such as monitoring services, reporting, endpoint URI management, using smart search, tracing, and throttling.

This part is intended for the following audience:

  • Operational Specialists: Responsible for monitoring services, servers and alerts in Oracle Service Bus.

  • Architects: Responsible for designing the security architecture of the enterprise system.

To best understand this guide you must be familiar with Oracle Service Bus resources, proxy services, and business services, described in Part III, "User Guide".
