This figure shows the Oracle Event Processing high availability lifecycle. There are two initial events: you start the server with deployed applications or you deploy an application. The initial state is SECONDARY. If the current primary server fails, Oracle Event Processing automatically selects a new primary server which transitions to the BECOMING_PRIMARY state. Once a configurable readiness threshold is met, the server transitions to the PRIMARY state. If the current primary fails, once it rejoins the multi-server domain, it has the state SECONDARY.
