Note – This procedure does not apply to the SL150 library.

Use this procedure to display the library SNMP engine ID, and then save it to a text file for use in “Create an SNMP v3 Trap Recipient” and “Configure SNMP Connections With the Library”.

Note – If your library firmware is below the versions listed in “Ensure an SNMP v2c User”, you must have a v2c “public” user defined in order for the following command to successfully display the SNMP engine ID.

Note – You must use the CLI for this procedure.
