Welcome to the documentation notes for Content Server 7.5 Patch 3. These notes are cumulative. They describe the Content Server product guides and major changes to their content since the 7.5 release.

Released: Content Server 7.5 Patch 3. Changes to product documentation set:
- Rollup Installation Guide
Updated with instructions for installing FatWire Web Experience Management (WEM) Framework with Content Server 7.5 Patch 3.
Describes changes to Content Server during installation of the WEM Framework option.
- Satellite Server Installation Guide
Updated with installation instructions supporting WEM Framework.
- Advanced User Guide, Dash User Guide, Administrator's Guide
Updated to reflect new login page for Content Server installations running WEM Framework (URL remains unchanged).
Contains various editorial changes.

- KeyView has been replaced with Apache Tika and docx4j implementations. The following guides have been updated to reflect the changes:
- The memory-centric model for tracking site visitors has been modified. Changes are documented in the Developer's Guide.

Property Files Reference |
Contains information about properties used to specify operating parameters for Content Server
and its applications. This guide is also essential to developers and administrators of Content Server systems.
In CS7.5 Patch 3:
- Added new properties related to the WEM Framework:

In CS7.5 Patch 2:
- Removed “KeyView Property Files” section and “KeyView” section (from futuretense_xcel.ini).
- Renamed keyview properties (functionality remains unchanged):
- keyview.imgdir is now transformer.imgdir
- keyview.imgurl is now transformer.imgurl
- Added new properties: xcelerate.transformpath and cs.binarypath (in futuretense_xcel.ini).
- Deprecated search engine properties (all properties on the futuretense.ini "Search" tab are now deprecated).
New in CS7.5 Patch 1:
- Memory-centric tracking of Engage visitors.
A new property named vis.useSessionVisitorConnection is documented in the
"visitor.ini" section. This property is described in terms of both database- and
memory-centric tracking methods.

Developer's Guide |
Provides conceptual and procedural information regarding data modeling, page design,
page caching, security, web services, and much more.
In CS7.5 Patch 2:
- KeyView-related changes:
- Updated "Registering a Transformation Engine" with new title ("Enabling a Transformation Engine"), new introduction, and new steps corresponding to the implementation that replaces KeyView.
- Updated "Document Transformation Filter" to reflect the current default transformation engines and document transformer implementation.
- Memory-centric visitor tracking now implements batch saving of history attributes to reduce memory utilization. History attributes in memory are first written to the file system, then batch saved to Content Server’s database (see page 815).
New in CS7.5 Patch 1:
- New FCKEditor features. Chapter 18 contains procedures and guidelines for:
- Implementing lazyload
- Configuring the style sheet plugin to support custom style sheets
- Creating style sheets (standalone or using CSS)
- Enabling FCKEditor for use in the InSite interface
- Enabling Image Picker for the FCKEditor toolbar
- Enabling selected asset types for use with FCKEditor (users can create assets directly from within
an FCKEditor-enabled field. Developers can limit the user's choice of asset types.)
- Memory-centric Visitor Tracking: Chapter 42
- Applies to Engage assets
- Provides an overview, compares database- and memory-centric models, and concludes with a set of
diagrams illustrating how memory-centric tracking works.
- Introduces a new tag, render:overridedeps, which enables developers to
limit the number of dependencies that are logged to Content Server's database and therefore improve performance.
This tag applies to both memory- and database-centric methods.
New in CS7.5:
- Chapter 25: Best Practices for Creating Site Preview Templates and Assets
Covers usage of the asset:filterassetsbydate tag

- Updates to "Visitor Tables (Engage)" section in appendix B.
Updates describe effects of memory-centric tracking of Engage visitors on table size.
New in CS7.5:
- Part 4. RealTime publishing - Complete, Delayed, and On-Demand. Includes:

different locales and languages. New in CS 7.5 Patch 1:
