How to Select Files for a Data Exchange Process

As a prerequisite for the following example, you must create the item ART-1000 Ballpen in the item management. |

Highlight the item ART-1000 - Ballpen. |

Select the option from the context menu. A selection menu with a list of available dispatch types is opened. |

The list of available dispatch types can be configured individually. The number of available dispatch types may therefore vary. |

Select a dispatch type. |
 |
The record is added to the "EER send to" mask. The data is compiled and exported by means of an interactive process or automatically at a set time using a batch process. Once the data has been exported, the files <package.no>.tar and <package.no>lab are copied automatically to the eer/export/<name of media>/<path> directory. |

Users must have manager privileges to export data interactively. All other users must use automatically initiated batch processes! |
