Navigator Functions

The information in this document refers only to the Windows client!
 

The Navigator Functions provide for convenient and centralized project, item and document management. The buttons and fields for these functions are on the tab Navigator in the Project, Item and Document masks. 
 
  The Document Navigator also contains the Navigator functions for assigned Persons:
 
The navigator fields are only filled after a manual refresh! This behaviour can be changed through customizing, but it is not recommended because of performance reasons!

Buttons

The buttons indicate the type of the associated record: 
Project
Item
Document
Person (with Documents)
  The Buttons have a context menu with the commands: Open, Insert and Delete.
 
  These commands operate as follows:
  • Open
    Opens the record specified in the Identification and Name fields in the navigator.
  • Add
    Opens the project, item or document list, from which you can select a record to be added to the current project, item or document.
  • Delete
    Deletes the assignment of a record.
   
 

Arrow Keys
  With the down arrow key, you can scroll to the previous record:

With the up arrow key, you can scroll to the next record:

   
 

Fields
  The No., Identification, and Name fields identify the associated record.
 
  • No.
    The numeric value in the No. field indicates the rank of the record displayed over the total quantity of associated records.
  • Identification
    the Identification field contains the project, item or document number of the associated record.
  • Name
    TheName field contains the name of the project, item or document of the assigned record.
