| As a prerequisite for the following example you must have completed the examples Add and Connect Components and Create Process Variables. | |
| Please note that process variables can only be added to process templates and ad-hoc processes! | |
| Don't use process variables of the type MONEY! | |
| Open the Purchase Requisition process in the Workflow Editor. | |

Click the tab in the
section. |
|
| Add the process variable Attr1 to the window. | |
|
|
Select a connection line from the tab and link the process variable Attr1 with the activity Create. |
|
|

The process variable Attr1 is now assigned
to the activity Create.

| A process variable can be assigned to more than one activity! | |

Process variables can be moved for easier viewing. However, these changes are not permanent, since process variables are automatically arranged upon opening of the process! |
