absolute path to database instance

Description

Specifies the absolute path to the database instance. If the database instance is created manually, this attribute must be included. Once the database instance has been created, do not modify this path as any changes risk preventing the server from accessing data.

Entry DN: cn=dbName,cn=ldbm database,cn=plugins,cn=config
Valid Range: Any valid absolute path to the database instance.
Default Value: None
Syntax: DirectoryString
Example: nsslapd-directory: /local/dsInst/db
