Preface

This quick installation guide provides instructions for installing and configuring Oracle WebCenter Content on a single host, using default values for most of the configuration. It also provides instructions for deinstalling Oracle WebCenter Content.

This guide is intended for users who are installing Oracle WebCenter Content for the first time in development mode for a test or demo system.

Conventions

Convention Meaning

boldface

Boldface type indicates a graphical user interface element associated with an action or a term defined in the text or glossary.

italic

Italic type indicates a book title, emphasis, or a placeholder variable for which you can supply a value.

monospace

Monospace type indicates a command within a paragraph, a URL, code in an example, text that appears on the screen, or text that you enter.
