17.1 Rebranding of Oracle Enterprise Content Management Suite to Oracle WebCenter Content

Oracle Enterprise Content Management Suite has been changed to Oracle WebCenter Content in the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (11.1.1.6.0) release. Oracle WebCenter Content is part of the Oracle WebCenter product stack, to provide the most complete, open, and unified enterprise content management platform.

17.2 Documentation Errata

This section describes documentation errata. It includes the following topic:

17.2.1 Start Capture Managed Server Before Setting Application Roles

The order of tasks for configuring Oracle WebCenter Content: Capture is incorrect in Section 7.2, "Completing the Initial Configuration of Capture," in Oracle Fusion Middleware Installing and Configuring Oracle WebCenter Content, version 11gR1 (11.1.1.8.0).

The tasks should be in the following order because the Capture Managed Server needs to be started before the application roles are set:

  1. Start the Capture Managed Server.

  2. Assign roles to Capture users in Fusion Middleware Control.

  3. Modify system-level settings through MBeans.

Likewise, the sections for these tasks should be in the following order:

  • 7.2.1 Starting the Capture Managed Server

  • 7.2.2 Assigning Roles to Capture Users

  • 7.2. Modifying System-Level Settings
