================================================================================ Endeca Latitude MDEX Engine GENERAL (2.1.0) - Release Date: June 2011 - This release is not compatible with data indexed using previous releases. - The release notes may have been updated since the release date. Access the Product Downloads section of the Endeca Developer Network (EDeN) at https://eden.endeca.com for the most recent version of the release notes. INSTALLATION (2.1.0) - Refer to the "Latitude Installation Guide" for installation information. BUG FIXES (2.1.0) * Bug Fix (BUG18860): Fixed a problem where if your current filter state was constrained by a record.search that had been auto-corrected, you could get inaccurate type-ahead suggestions on subsequent searches, because the type-ahead list was constrained by the original search term, not the auto-corrected term. * Bug Fix (BUG18878): Previously, you would not see type-ahead results if you entered a search that contained quotation marks. This behavior has been fixed so that the results are displayed. * Bug Fix (BUG18982): Fixed a problem where in some cases, when at least one record in the current navigation state had a multi-assign navigable property with more than 50 values assigned, you could see a degradation in the performance of the Guided Navigation component. * Bug Fix (BUG19042): Fixed a problem where an incorrect assignment for the system-navigation_Select property would result in an error at query time. Valid assignments are: multi-or, multi-and, single. * Bug Fix (BUG19051): Fixed a problem where if you changed the display name of an attribute, the Results Table component would not update until the next time you logged in to the application. * Bug Fix (BUG19103): The previous behavior of the MDEX Engine was that it had a default thread count of 1 at startup. Running with this default value meant that the MDEX Engine could only do one task at a time. This behavior has been fixed by changing the default thread value to 2. * Bug Fix (BUG19127): Previously, if you configured properties with multiple assignments to single-select, when you selected a property value in the Guided Navigation component, refinements for that property would still appear in the Guided Navigation component. This problem has been fixed. KNOWN ISSUES (2.1.0) * BUG17879: The silent installer fails if the target directory is not empty (the standard installer provides an error in this case). * BUG18828: Queries with record filter values containing "/" fail. * BUG19037: When using search type-ahead on a multi-select attribute, selected refinement values are not excluded from the type-ahead list. * BUG19086: If two shutdown requests with different timeouts are sent to the Dgraph simultaneously, the shorter timeout may not be applied. ===============================================================================
