Add Text to a Document Output Field


After completing this topic, you will be able to add text to document output fields.


Steps:

  1. Step 1
  2. Assign the text "General" to the Department field for the Opening a Document topic.

     

    Click in the Department field.

  3. Enter the desired information into the Department field. Enter "General".

  4. Press [Enter].

  5. Assign a Status and Revision text to the Opening a Document and Printing a Document topics.

     

    Press the [Ctrl] key and click the Printing a Document topic.

  6. Click in the Status field.

    Step 6
  7. Enter the desired information into the Status field. Enter "in progress".

    Step 7
  8. Press [Enter].

  9. Click in the SPD Revision field.

    Step 9
  10. Enter the desired information into the SPD Revision field. Enter "2.1".

    Step 10
  11. Press [Enter].
