Set Current Action as the Default Action

After completing this topic, you will be able to set the current action as the default action.

Steps:

1. Step 1

2. The selected frame contains three alternative actions. You are currently viewing the third alternative (3/3), which is to click the Open button.

   Step 2

3. Set the current action as the default action.

    

   Click the Edit menu.

   Step 3

4. Click the Set Action as Default command.

   Step 4

5. Notice the change in the Frame Structure. The action to use the Open button is now the primary path.

   Step 5

6. Save the topic.

    

   Click the Save button.

   Step 6

7. Switch to the WordPad Training outline in the Outline Editor.

    

   Click the WordPad Training tab.

   Step 7

8. Preview the selected topic in Try It! mode.

    

   Click the Go to button.

   Step 8

9. Click the start link to begin the preview.

   Step 9

10. Notice that the primary path for the topic is the action to click the Open button.

    Step 10

11. Press [Escape] to end the preview.

    Step 11
