You can edit a topic or test when you complete the recording, or you can edit a topic you recorded previously. If you want to Edit an existing topic or test, the Select Topic or Test to Edit page displays a list of existing topics or tests for which you are the owner. Ownership is assigned on the Add Optional Information page during creation of the topic or test. You can only edit topics for which you are the owner.

To edit a topic or test:  

1. From the Welcome to Record It! page, click Edit an existing topic and click Next.
    
2. Select the topic or test to edit and click Next.
   The Welcome to the Topic Editor window appears with basic instructions about how to use the Topic Editor. Click OK to close the window.
    
   or
    
   From the Edit Your Topic page, select Yes, launch editor.
    
3. Edit the document in the Topic Editor and save the changes.
    
4. Close the Topic Editor to return to the Record It! wizard.
