Record Paths in a Decision Frame


After completing this topic, you will be able to record paths in a Decision frame.


Steps:

  4. Add a Branch path to the Decision frame.

     

    Click the Insert menu.

  5. Click the Decision Path command.

  6. Click the Branch button.

  7. Enter a name for the new branch path. Enter "Text Document".

  9. The Recorder opens.

     

    Before recording the Decision path, you should set up the application at the screen where the Decision frame offers a choice.

     

    We have opened the Customer.rtf file in WordPad and opened the Save As dialog box for you.

  10. Activate the Save As dialog box.

     

    Click the Save As dialog box title bar.

  11. You will record the steps to save the document in a text document format.

  12. Press [PrintScreen] to start the recording.

  13. Perform the first action, which is to select the Save as type list button.

     

    Click the Save as type list button.

  15. Perform the second action, which is to select the Text Document type.

     

    Click the Text Document list item.

  22. The Recorder closes. The Topic Editor displays the new path in the Decision frame and the new branch path added to the frame structure.

    Click the first F frame in the new path.
