You can customize various screen elements and graphics for the windowed See It! mode. Graphic elements can be changed by replacing files in the Player Package. Other elements, such as the color of the frame or the navigation bar can be changed in the skin.css file.

The windowed See It! shares the same skin.css file with the full screen Player. However, there are several customizations specific to the windowed See It!. Other customizations will also change the full Player.

.backgroundWindowed - Controls the frame around the windowed See It!. The full Player uses .background to control the frame. |
actionbar.png - Contains all the graphics for the action bar. If you want different graphics for the Preferences and Help buttons, you can replace them using this graphic.

As with customization for the Player as a whole, you can make changes to the Player publishing style, which will affect all published content, or make one-time only changes in the published Player Package.

Window Elements

You can customize the color of the frame, the content area border, and the navigation bar.

.backgroundWindowed: Changes the color of the thick frame around the windowed See It! player. Default value is background color #94B8E9.
.PlayerCombination: Changes the color of the content area border (thin line between the thick frame and the content area) and the navigation bar (area with controls at the bottom off the windowed See It! player). Default values are #3E5782.

Graphic Elements

You can change the following graphic elements by editing the graphic files. The graphic files are located in the System/Publishing/Styles/<category>/Player/img folder in the Library.

If you want a different graphic to appear for the Help and/or Preferences button(s) in the windowed See It! player, delete the second Help and/or Preferences graphic(s) within the actionbar.png graphic and replace it with the new graphic(s). The graphic being replaced must be replaced by a graphic of the same size (16 x 16 pixels).

log out.gif Log out - Log out icon. This icon appears only if the content you are viewing is tracked via the Knowledge Center.
