After completing this topic, you will be able to link an existing document.
Steps:
Link the Using Tables module from the Additional Topics folder in the Library to the WordPad Training module in the outline.
The WordPad Training module is already selected for you.
Step 2Click the Link menu.
Step 4Click the Existing Document command.
Step 5Navigate to the location in which the existing document resides; in this case, the Content/Additional Topics folder.
Double-click the Content folder.
Step 6Double-click the Additional Topics folder.
Step 7Select the document you want to link to the Document Basics module.
Click the Using Tables module.
Step 8Click the Link button.
Step 9The Using Tables module is linked to the WordPad Training module and added to the bottom of the documents related to the parent.
Click the Expand button to the left of the Using Tables module.
Step 10Linking a parent document also adds all documents linked to the parent to the outline; in this case the Creating a Table topic.
Step 11Use the right-click context menu to link an existing topic in the Library to the outline.
Right-click the Opening a Document topic.
Step 12Click the Link Existing Document command.
Step 13Navigate to the location in which the existing document resides; in this case, the Content/Topics folder.
Double-click the Content folder.
Step 14Double-click the Additional Topics folder.
Step 15Select the document you want to link to the outline.
Click the Printing a Document topic.
Step 16Click the Link button.
Step 17Linking a document with a topic selected, positions the linked document below the topic in the outline and links the document to the selected topic's parent.
Step 18After completing this topic, you are able to link an existing document.
