After completing this topic, you will be able to create an assessment-only activity.
Steps:
Create a new knowledge path.
Click the Create path button.
Step 2Click in the Name field.
Step 3Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "Excel Test".
Step 4Click the Path Categories list.
Step 5Click the MSOffice category.
Step 6Allow the user to self enroll.
Click the User can Self Enroll option.
Step 7Click the Save button.
Step 8Click the Activities link.
Step 9Click the Edit icon for the Excel Test activity.
Step 10Click the Browse button next to the Title Properties field.
Step 11Select the content object you want to add to the activity.
Click the Basic Excel Skills content object.
Step 12Click the OK button.
Step 13Depending on the size and resolution of your monitor, you may need to scroll the Activities page to view the Assessment sections at the bottom.
Step 14To create an assessment only activity, you can use either a pre- or a post-assessment. In this example, we are using the pre-assessment.
Click the Assessment list in the Pre-assessment section.
Step 15Select the desired assessment.
In this example, click Basic Excel Skills Pre-Assessment.
Step 16Randomizing the question order is recommended in assessments.
Click the Random question order option.
Step 17Randomizing the answers for multiple choice, matching and hotspot questions is also recommended.
Click the Random answer order option.
Step 18Depending on the size and resolution of your monitor, you may need to scroll the Activities page to view the Subject section at the top.
Step 19Hide the course and display the assessment only.
Click the Suppress subject (assess only) option.
Step 20Click the Save button.
Step 21Click the Back to Activities button.
Step 22Click the Back to List link.
