Select a Report Format


After completing this topic, you will be able to select a report format when running a report.


Steps:

  1. The Format report is a custom report that lets you choose a report format. Run the report.

     

    Click the Format link.

  2. Select a report format.

     

    Click the Format list.

  3. Create a tab-delimited report.

     

    Click the Tab-delimited list item.

  4. Click the Process Report button.

  5. Both the XML and tab-delimited reports open in a browser window.

     

    For a tab-delimited report, you can use the File menu and the Save As command to save the report as a text file, which can be opened in a spreadsheet or database program.

  6. The tab-delimited report was saved as a text file and opened and formatted in Microsoft Excel.

  7. After generating the report, you can use the browser's Back button to return to the Knowledge Center.
