There are many external tools available which can connect to a data source, such as Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports, and web pages. There are different considerations for each tool. Also, depending on the tool you use to create the report and how it is set up, you may need to enter a password when you run the report.
Note: If the Oracle or SQL server and the Knowledge Center server are on different computers, and you are using Oracle or SQL authentication, then you will always have to enter the password to run the report.
