Use the HTML Editor

After completing this topic, you will be able to use the HTML editor.

Steps:

1. Create a new HTML file.

    

   Click the New Html File button.

   Step 1

2. Add text to the file.

    

   Click in the text box.

   Step 2

3. Enter "Check our prices".

   Step 3

4. Press [Enter].

   Step 4

5. Add a table to the page.

    

   Click the Table button.

   Step 5

6. Create a table with 5 columns.

    

   Double-click in the Columns field.

   Step 6

7. Enter "5".

   Step 7

8. Mark the first row as a Header row.

    

   Click the Headers list.

   Step 8

9. Click the First Row list item.

   Step 9

10. Click the OK button.

    Step 10

11. Add text to the first cell in the table.

     

    Click in the first cell.

    Step 11

12. Enter "Product".

    Step 12

13. Press [Tab] to select the next cell.

    Step 13

14. Enter "Quantity".

    Step 14

15. The width of the columns adjust as you type.

16. We have added the rest of the columns headings for you.

17. Select all the text in the page.

     

    Click the Select All button.

18. Change the text font.

     

    Click the Font list button.

19. Click the Lucida Sans Unicode font.

    Step 19

20. Change the font size of the text.

     

    Click the Size list button.

    Step 20

21. Change the font size to 14 points.

     

    Click the 14 list item.

    Step 21

22. Save the HTML file.

     

    Click the Save button.

23. Close the HTML file.

     

    Click the Close button.

24. Rename the file to Price list.html.

     

    Right-click the New HTML File.html file.

25. Click the Rename command.

26. Enter Price List.html.

    Step 26

27. Press [Enter].
