Clear the Input Text Entry List

After completing this topic, you will be able to clear the input text entry list.

Steps:

1. View the entries in the Input text list.

    

   Click the Input text list button.

   Step 1

2. The entries include Sales letter.rtf and <Something>.

    

   In Know It? mode, the <Something> entry allows the user to enter any text and scores it as a correct response.

   Step 2

3. View the bubble in Player - Know It? mode.

    

   Click the Display list button.

   Step 3

4. Click the Player - Know It? list item.

   Step 4

5. The user is prompted to enter a valid value and is given the example of Sales letter.rtf.

8. Clear the Input text list.

    

   Click the String input options button.

   Step 8

9. Click the Clear list command.

   Step 9

10. View the entries in the Input text list.

     

    Click the Input text list.

    Step 10

11. Clearing the list removes the <Something> entry from the list.

    Step 11

12. Notice that clearing the input list also removes the string input instructions in the Know It? bubble.

     

    The only entry for the step that will be scored as correct is to enter Sales letter.rtf.
