After completing this topic, you will be able to assign a State value to a document.
Steps:
Assign the Not Started state to the selected document.
Click in the State field.
Step 2Click the State list button.
Step 3Click the Not Started list item.

Click the Printing a Document topic.

Step 7Press the [Ctrl] key and click the Changing Word Wrap Options topic.
Step 8Assign the In Review state to the selected documents.
Click in the State field.
Step 9Click the State list button.
Step 10Click the In Review list item.
Step 11Switch to the Library.
Click the Library tab.
Step 12Assign the same state to two documents in the Library.
Click the
ORIENTATION web page.
Step 13Press the [Ctrl] key and click the PAGE_SETUP LINK web page.
Step 14Assign the Final state to the selected documents.
Click in the State field.
Step 15Click the State list button.
Step 16Click the Final list item.
Step 17Switch to the WordPad Training outline.
Click the WordPad Training tab.
Step 18Click the Creating a New Document topic.
Step 19Remove the state value from the selected document.
Click in the State field.
Step 20Click the State list button.
Step 21Click the blank entry at the top of the list.
Step 22Notice that the State value is now blank.
