The atg.commerce.pricing.AmountInfo parent class represents price information about an object. In addition to the actual amount, it also contains information about how to interpret that amount. This class is the base for the ItemPriceInfo, OrderPriceInfo, TaxPriceInfo, and ShippingPriceInfo classes.
