You cannot upgrade Oracle VM 2.x to
Oracle VM 3.x. A full reinstall of your
Oracle VM environment is required. You can however upgrade an
Oracle VM 3.x environment. See
Chapter 5, Upgrading Oracle VM for information on
performing an upgrade.
Since Oracle VM Release 3.2 is the first release available with support for SPARC, upgrade procedures mentioned in this document only apply to environments running on x86 hardware.
