Steps:
Import the translated content.
Click the Tools menu.
Step 1Point to the Import command.
Step 2Click the Localization command.
Step 3Browse to the location in which the localized document can be found.
Click the Browse button.
Step 4Select the localized document.
Click the Translation_done.doc list item.
Step 5Click the Open button.
Step 6Click the OK button to import the localized document.
Step 7Open the activity log and view the status of the documents.
Click the View activity log link.
Step 8Note the entry for the glossary document. When no translation is provided for a translation unit, you are warned that translated values are missing for some of the text in the document, and the source text is left unchanged. If needed, you can add the missing translation to the localization file and import it again to ensure that all of the text is translated. In this case, however, the name of the glossary was intentionally not translated, so no further action is needed.
Step 9Click the Close button to close the activity log.
Step 10Click the OK button to close the Import Complete dialog box.
Step 11Notice the names of the documents in the Spanish folder. The name of the Glossary document has not changed (as mentioned previously), but the names of all of the other documents have been changed to their Spanish counterparts, as provided in the localization file.
Step 12Select one of the documents and display the Properties toolpane.
Click the Graficos2 document.
Step 13Click the View menu.
Step 14Point to the Panes command.
Step 15Click the Properties command.
Step 16Notice that the Language property for the imported documents has been updated to Spanish.
Step 17Click the Guardar un documento como archivo nuevo topic document.
Step 18Notice that the Roles property has been updated to the translated value.
