Ask a Question - User

After completing this topic, you will be able to ask a question.

Steps:

1. In this example, you will ask a question using the link on the Knowledge Center home page. Remember that there is also a link in the subject interface.

    

   Click the Ask an Expert link.

   Step 1

2. Click the Ask New Question link.

   Step 2

3. The Activity list allows you to specify the activity about which you have a question.

    

   Note: When you ask a question from a knowledge path or from a Player launched from the Knowledge Center, the current activity is automatically entered for you.

    

   Click the Activity list.

   Step 3

4. Click the Basic Excel Skills list item.

   Step 4

5. Enter a subject for your question.

    

   Click the Subject field.

   Step 5

6. Enter the desired information into the Subject field. Enter "Formatting Cells".

   Step 6

7. Click the Question field.

   Step 7

8. Enter the desired information into the Question field. Enter "Can I create a custom format for a cell?".

   Step 8

9. Submit the question.

    

   Click the Submit button.

   Step 9

10. After you submit a question, it is listed on the Get Expert Advice page.

    Step 10

11. Return to the home page.

     

    Click the Home button.

    Step 11
