Create an Organizational Knowledge Path


After completing this topic, you will be able to create an organizational knowledge path.


Steps:

  1. Click the Manager link.

  2. Click the Knowledge Paths link.

  3. Click the Create path button.

  4. Click in the Name field.

    Step 4
  5. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "Office Basics".

  6. Click the Path Categories list.

    Step 6
  7. Click the MSOffice category.

    Step 7
  8. Allow users to self enroll.

     

    Click the User can Self Enroll option.

  9. Save the knowledge path.

     

    Click the Save button.

  10. Add activities to the knowledge path.

     

    Click the Activities link.

  11. Click the Add icon for the activity.

  12. Click the Browse button next to the Title Properties field.

  13. Select the content object you want to add to the activity.

     

    Click the Basic Word Skills content object.

  14. Click the OK button.

  15. Click the Save button.

  16. Click the Back to Activities button.

  17. Add another activity to the Office Basics knowledge path on the same level as the Basic Word Skills activity.

     

    Click the Add icon for the activity.

  18. Click the Browse button next to the Title Properties field.

  19. Select the content object you want to add to the activity.

     

    Click the Basic Excel Skills content object.

  20. Click the OK button.

  22. Return to the Office Basics knowledge path page.

     

    Click the Back to Activities button.
