Export Content Defaults


After completing this topic, you will be able to export your content defaults.


Steps:

  1. Click the Tools menu.

  2. Point to the Export command.

    Step 2

  3. Click the Content Default Options command.

    Step 3

  4. Browse to the location in which you want to store the exported options file.

     

    We have opened the Training Files folder for you.

  5. Enter a name for the exported file into the File name field. Enter "mydefaults".

    Step 5

  6. Click the Save button.

    Step 6

  7. You should distribute the options file (.ops) to authors so that they can import the custom settings to ensure consistent standards across content.
