When you select Set Options from the Record It! wizard, the Options dialog box opens in the Recorder category. From this category, you can set the screen capture mode (manual or automatic), screen capture key and control sound recording on a topic.

 

From the Documents category, you can set the Document options for printed output.

 

Note: After the options have been saved, you return to the Record It! wizard regardless of what is set in the Open the Topic Editor option.

 

To set the recording options in Record It!: 

  1. From the Name Your Topic page, click Set Options.
     
  2. Click the Recorder category and set the Recorder options then click OK.
     
  3. Click Next to launch the Recorder.

To set the document output options in Record It!: 

  1. From the Name Your Topic page, click Set Options.
     
  2. Click the Documents category and set the print options then click OK.
     
  3. Click Next to launch the Recorder.
