Restore a Deleted Document from the Outline Editor

After completing this topic, you will be able to restore a deleted document from the Outline Editor.

Steps:

1. Click the Inserting Dates and Objects broken link in the outline.

   Step 1

2. Notice the broken links for the section.

   Step 2

3. Restore the Inserting Dates and Objects section.

    

   Click the Edit menu.

   Step 3

4. Click the Restore command.

   Step 4

5. Restore the selection and related documents.

    

   Click the Restore my selection and related documents option.

   Step 5

6. Click the OK button.

   Step 6

7. Notice that the topics are restored to the outline. Switch to the Library.

    

   Click the Library tab.

   Step 7

8. The restored section and linked topics appear in their original folder.

   Step 8

After completing this topic, you are able to restore a deleted document from the Outline Editor.
