Record It! is a streamlined recording mode designed to allow non-Developer content contributors such as a subject matter expert (in a multi-user installation of the Developer) to quickly create content. Record It! also allows the content contributor to edit or comment on existing content assigned to them, or record testing procedures that can be printed as a test document.
The Record It! wizard, launched from the Record It! shortcut, guides the content contributor through content creation.
When you start the Record It! wizard in a multi-user environment, you may be asked to create a Login Profile. A Login Profile identifies the server where the content Library is installed as well as your Login credentials. A content Library is the location you will save your content so it can be reviewed by a content author. Any content you create and save will be stored in the Record It! Content folder in this Library.
