Customize Styles


After completing this topic, you will be able to customize the template styles.


Steps:

  1. We have scrolled to the beginning of the table of action steps for topics.

     

    The ActionText bookmark inserts the frame text that appears in each row of the table.

     

    Click in the ActionText bookmark.

  2. Display the Style Inspector.

     

    Click the Styles Dialog Box Launcher.

  3. Click the Style Inspector button.

  4. Notice that the Style Inspector indicates that the bookmark is formatted for the steptext style.

     

    You can modify the template styles to change the appearance of the text.

  5. Point to the steptext style in the Paragraph Formatting of selected text field.

  6. Click the steptext list button.

  7. Click the Modify command.

    Step 7
  8. You can use the Modify Style dialog box to change the appearance of the text.

     

    Notice that the style uses a Times New Roman 11 point font.

  9. We have changed the font to Arial and the font size to 10.

  10. Apply the style change to new documents using the template.

     

    Click the New documents based on this template option.

  11. Click the OK button to close the Modify Style dialog box.

  12. Notice the font change in the table for the ActionText bookmark.
