Customize the Presentation Style


After completing this topic, you will be able to customize the Presentation publishing style.


Steps:

  1. The WSG folder is a custom publishing category that contains copies of some of the publishing styles.

  2. The Presentation style is checked out so that you can customize it. It has been renamed to Presentation_WSG. Open the style.

     

    Double-click the Presentation_WSG list item.

  3. Navigate to the Presentation template.

     

    Double-click the lang list item.

  4. Open the appropriate language folder.

     

    Double-click the en list item.

  5. Open the package file directly from the Package Editor.

     

    Double-click the PresentationTemplate.pptx list item.

  6. The template opens in PowerPoint showing the title slide. Change the zoom to fit the slide to the window.

     

    Click the Fit slide to current window button.

  7. Change the properties for this placeholder.

     

    Click in the text to view the placeholder borders.

  10. Change the text in the placeholder to Lucida Sans with a Bold font style and a point size of 32.

     

    On the Home tab, Font group, click the Font list.

  17. Change the size of the screenshot placeholder. You can either enter a specific size in the Size and Position dialog box or you can drag the resize handles on the placeholder to manually resize it.

     

    In this example, you will enter a specific size for the screenshot in the Size and Position dialog box.

  18. View the shortcut menu for the picture placeholder.

     

    Right-click the picture object.
