Return the Server Module to Operation

Use this procedure to return the server to operation.

  1. Ensure that all components are properly seated and secured.
  2. Remove debris and tools from the inside of the server.

    If necessary, use a vacuum or blower to remove dust from component surfaces and server air vents.

  3. Install the server module top cover.

    See Install the Server Module Top Cover .

  4. Remove the server module filler panel.

    If you installed a server module filler panel when you removed the server module, remove it now. Remove Server Module Filler Panel

  5. Install the server module in the chassis.

    See Install the Server Module in the Chassis.

    Standby power is applied to the server.

  6. If necessary, restore BIOS and SP/ILOM configurations before powering on the server.

  7. To power on the server module, do one of the following:
