3.4 Preventing Ksplice from Patching User-Space Processes and Libraries

If you do not want Ksplice to patch the user-space processes for certain executables or libraries, you can specify them in a configuration file in /etc/ksplice/blacklist.d. The following example localblacklist.conf file would prevent Ksplice from patching any process that corresponds to any executable in the /opt/app/bin or /usr/local/bin, or from patching any shared library whose name matches liblocal-*:

[executables]
/opt/app/bin/*
/usr/local/bin/*

[targets]
liblocal-*
