3.4 Preventing Ksplice from Patching User Space Processes and Libraries

If you do not want Ksplice to patch the user space processes for certain executables or libraries, you can specify them in a configuration file in /etc/ksplice/blacklist.d. The following example localblacklist.conf file would prevent Ksplice from patching any process that corresponds to any executable in the /opt/app/bin or /usr/local/bin, or from patching any shared library whose name matches liblocal-*:

[executables]
/opt/app/bin/*
/usr/local/bin/*

[targets]
liblocal-*
