Example: Preparing the Cluster for PostgreSQL

  1. Install and configure the cluster as instructed in Oracle Solaris Cluster Software Installation Guide.

    Install the following cluster software components on both nodes.

    • Oracle Solaris Cluster core software

    • Oracle Solaris Cluster data service for PostgreSQL

    • Oracle Solaris Cluster data service for Oracle Solaris containers

  2. Install the following utility software on both nodes:

    • readline

    • gmake

    • Your C compiler
