Using cut and paste, you can move one frame or multiple consecutive frames to another position in the same topic or to another topic. Cut frames are immediately removed from their original position on the frame structure. If you change your mind after cutting a frame selection, you can use Undo to restore the cut frames to their original position in the frame structure.

Warning! The clipboard only holds one cut/copy selection. So if you cut a frame selection and then cut or copy another selection of frames, only the last cut/copied frames are available for pasting.

To move one or more frames:

1. Select the frame you want to move.
    
   To move multiple consecutive frames, select the first frame in the group of frames you want to move, press SHIFT, and click the last frame in the group of frames you want to move.
    
   The frames you clicked are selected, along with all frames in between them.
    
2. On the Edit menu, choose Cut Frames.
    
   Or
    
   Right-click the frame selection and choose Cut Frames from the context menu.
       
3. To paste the cut frames, select the frame after which you want to paste the copy.
    
   You can open a different topic in the Topic Editor, or switch to a topic already open, if desired.
    
4. On the Edit menu, choose  Paste Frames.
    
   Or
    
   Right-click the frame selection and choose Paste Frames from the context menu.
